You’re invited to Easter with ROCKHARBOR! As we celebrate the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, we’re reminded that because of His love and sacrifice, the pain, brokenness, bondage and indifference that the world experiences is transformed to the place of lasting hope, freedom, and joy. Not only is the relationship between us and God restored, but the relationship with ourselves, others, and creation is reconciled as well. God’s love has the capacity to change the narrative from sin and shame to something beautiful that represents restoration, peace, forgiveness and all things that people want and internally yearn for.
Whether you have attended church for years or have never stepped foot inside one, come experience the historic events and powerful message of Easter in a personal and significant way.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Easter with ROCKHARBOR is a celebration of the life offered through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Each year the story of Easter is told on Good Friday and Easter Sunday through a blend of creative arts, music, and teaching from the Bible. On Easter Sunday, new life in Jesus is celebrated through baptism, where a person is submerged and lifted out of water. This act is both a declarative statement to choose to follow Jesus, as well as a symbolic passage into the new life He offers.
Our kids Easter services are designed specifically for children from birth to kindergarten. Elementary through High School age are invited to our main services. Each Sunday RH Kids participate in an amazing, interactive environment where they encounter God in real and tangible ways. Please plan to arrive 30 minutes before service starts in order to check your child in, and if you are new, please look for the “New Family Check-in” area.
